Hola from Bev

Yesterday we had a late leisurely breakfast, followed by a team meeting. The remainder of the morning we had some free time for resting or shopping. Yesterday, and today as well, we have been blessed with cool rainy weather. We went for lunch yesterday to the home of a cousin of Juan and enjoyed a delicious Bolivian meal followed by freshly popped popcorn. We returned to the hotel and changed and went to the church to work. Some worked at bending and cutting rebar while Leone and Delores led another quilting session.

Supper was our gift to the leaders and their wives. We hosted Carlos and his daughter Katherine from the Bet-tel (Bethel) church;Marcello and Elizabeth from Libre en Christo (Free in Christ); and Juan and Valentina, Ernesto and Delia and their two sons, and Faride, a deaconess, all from Nueve Canaan ( New Canaan). After the meal, Henry presented Carlos with some books for the seminary and he also presented books for the pastor´s personal libraries. Delores presented gift bags to the ladies as well as pins. Bob presented key chains.

Free in Christ is a thrivig new point of preaching and is beginning to build a church building. I has a helathy congregation with whole families attending.

Bet-tel is also a healthy church. they have outgrown their building and have plans to builid a new church.

Hello Bev and team,

So good to read your post today and hear of the team's activities. Upon your return you'll have to give us all a "rebar bending" demonstration - sounds challenging. Our prayers continue with you all.

Best Regards,
DALE.
