We saw beauty in the faces of the children in the Sunday School. Jimena and carlita came and gave us a hug when we arrived. They all call out for ¨Patricio¨ (or Dustin as you may know him)
Dennis and Emigdio, the two äbuelos¨(grandfathers) played with the boys after sunday school, hitting balloons and trying to break them on the ceiling fan. I am not sure who had more fun the old kids or the young kids. Dennis has taught the kids to give him ¨high fives¨. Kids are the same everywhere. They crowded around us as we gave out stickers and pencils. One young lady is wearing the Canadian flag pins as earings.
We see beauty in the faces of the women of the church who have prepared wonderful meals for us with what we would say is a very limited kitchen.
There is beauty all around us when we look for it.
