Our team needs your support.
We ask that you keep us in your prayers as we prepare to step out in our faith. The Short-Term Missions Team (STMT) and this trip are an outgrowth of the ministry and fellowship of Westhill Park Baptist Church and you can have a part in this work.
Prayer Items:
- Spiritual insight into how we can be of support and aid to the Bolivians, and a clear sense of God's purpose and direction.
- Spiritual Preparation: our personal spiritual growth and reliance on God, not what we can do - within ourselves and within Bolivia.
- Health, Strength, and Safety while preparing and traveling.
-Unity and Cohesiveness within the STEP Team and for the love we need to show each other and the Bolivian People.
- Financial Support
- Language challenges
Financial Support:
While some of the financial support for this mission is already in place, there is always room for more support. We believe that God will provide, as He does for all the ministries at WPBC, the finances that are required. Our prayer is that this ministry will not take anything away from WPBC spiritual life, but will add to it. Please forward your donation to Westhill Park Baptist Church, designated to STMT/Bolivia.

Sunday Evening Missions Night
This evening we enjoyed a time of fellowship, music and learning together. After singing some Spanish hymns and songs together, Marylaine, Wayne, and Bev shared their testimonies of the progress of their preparation for ministry trip. All three mentioned times of faith-stretching, and facing fears of inadequacy, doubts, and the unknown. Bridging between these times of openness and community, were lighter moments when 2 skits were performed for the audience. Wayne and Ruth performed a radio interview from the station WPBC stereo, where Ruth expertly extracted all the pertinent details of Wayne's upcoming trip. Karen and Nadine dramatically showed us the back and forth thoughts that can go through a person's head as one makes a difficult decision to serve God through missions.
During the contemplative time lead by Pastor Henry, we discovered that our perspective is a huge part of our vision of missions. He challenged us to imagine what it would be like to live outside of Canada, and desire to send missionaries to reach the Canadians for the Lord.
The evening concluded with delicious refreshments, and good conversation.
